Why are Exclusions important?

Exclusions are important because if a racoon makes a hole, then possums and rats may follow!

Possums, like racoons, have opposable thumbs and can get into tiny spaces and can tear up attic linings....

We offer our services in Port Saint Lucie, Port Salerno, Indiantown, Stuart, Okeechobee, Jupiter, Hobe Sound, Palm Beach Gardens, and West Palm Beach.

If you have any questions, feel free to give us a call at 772-204-3240. We would love to help safeguard your home from the damage that possums can cause!

WILDLIFE TIP OF THE DAY!

Snakes are not able to automatically regulate their body temperature.  This means that when it is hot they are looking for a cool place to be or when it is cold they are looking for a warm place to be.

It is important to make sure you keep the doors to your house closed at all times.  Leaving a door open even while carrying groceries in from the car can give a snake the perfect opportunity to slither on in to get cool or get warm.

Serving:  Stuart, Palm City, Port Saint Lucie,  Port St. Lucie, Hobe Sound, Jupiter, Jupiter Island, Palm Beach Gardens, Fort Pierce, Indiantown, and Okeechobee.

Although raccoons may look cute, they can be very destructive.  Did you know that when a mother raccoon is pregnant and is looking for a place to have her babies, she is more likely to target a home or crawl space.  Don't let your home be a target.  Call DPS to come and safeguard your  home against unwanted animal entry.  Once momma raccoon enters your home she prepares a shelter and nest to have her babies.  The contamination of the afterbirth as well as the feces from mom and babies is toxic.  DPS is not only a licensed trapper, we are also residential contractors that can help you with the clean up after the loss.
